Respectable reappearance when third in a 3m2½f hurdle at Newton Abbot before finishing midfield at Cheltenham. Latest 2lb ease helps and ought to be competitive off this mark.
Landed an incredible seven-timer after joining this yard culminating in a course and distance success. Found Pertemps final beyond him at Cheltenham and wasn't impressive on recent chase bow. 6lb higher than last hurdle win now but capable.
High class in his younger days but not quite the force these days. That said he won three starts ago and has been competitive in all three subsequent starts off today's mark. Never won over 3m but appeared to get it at Cheltenham latest.
Dual novice chase winner last season who returns from a summer break back over hurdles. Up and down at the end of 15/16 season over hurdles with an excellent third sandwiched between back-to-back unseated riders and a pulled-up.
First start of the year and remains quite lightly raced. Won twice over hurdles including here over 2m4f. First try at 3m and handicap mark not impossible so go well if he stays the trip.
Useful four time hurdle winner but not seen for nearly two years so surely had problems. Handicap mark now lenient but must prove he retains ability.
Uttoxeter hat-trick in the summer saw him rise 35lb but only just touched off at Worcester latest after a break. Looks a leading candidate given rate of improvement but must prove effectiveness on softer ground here.
Dual chase winner ran respectably in hurdle races at Ffos Las late on in 2015 but he is now 12lb higher so there are questions to answer on return to action.
7¼L fifth to re-opposing Dell Arca when last seen at Ascot in April having won a two runner race the time before. 5lb better off today and should be open to improvement on just his sixth start.
Close second off this mark when last seen at Exeter over 2m7f. Reappears and tackles 3m for first time here. Lightly raced and likely improve further for champion trainer.
Lightly raced mare has run well in recent handicaps at Uttoxeter and Wetherby, finishing second in each. Up 1lb each time but remains of each-way interest.
Won three races last season at up to 3m6½f including a 3m2f handicap hurdle at Warwick. 13lb higher now and step back to easy 3m against him.

There are several lightly raced sorts here so there is every chance we could see an improver in the field and CAPTAIN BUCK'S appeals as just that type. He has won twice already in a brief hurdles career and we have seen Paul Nicholls horses improve for longer distances on plenty of occasions before. Beneagles is another five-year old who could improve further this season for Alan King and Terry The Fish has to enter calculations too given his rapid rise through the ranks.
