Produced the best Flat form of these when showing a good turn of foot to score at Chepstow in June. Impressive 28L winner at Uttoxeter three weeks ago which earned him an official rating of 130. Even with his penalty he will be hard to beat.
Placed three times on the Flat in Spain where he liked to make the running. Has joined a top outfit but will have to be above average to take this if Knight Destroyer runs to his best.
Expensive flop on the Flat who now tries his hand at hurdling. Remains to be seen if he has the temperament for this game and hard to recommend as a result.
Rated more than 30lb below Knight Destroyer on the Flat and tailed off on last start 18 days ago. Hard to envisage him being a threat.
French Flat winner who jumped well on hurdling debut. Beaten favourite in a good race here last time and a tongue-tie is now fitted. If that has the desired effect, then she could prove a threat in receipt of almost a stone from Knight Destroyer.
Runner-up in more modest company on first two hurdling stars but had limitations exposed at Wetherby last month. May fare better in handicaps.
Form turned regressive on the Flat and finished tailed off on her most recent start. Best watched on debut for new yard.
Forecasts
Knight Destroyer (2/9), Ortenzia (13/2), Nube Negra (15/2), Satis House (14/1), The Lady Rules (100/1), Precious Rock (100/1), Ten In The Hat (150/1)
KNIGHT DESTROYER won what looked a better race than this by 28L last time and that makes him hard to beat on a track where his Flat speed can be used to good effect. He has to concede 13lb to Ortenzia who was an expensive failure here last time. That was a hot contest though and the fitting of a tongue-tie suggests there may have been an excuse for that performance. Dan Skelton saddles Spanish import Nube Negra and a market move would make him more of a threat than he looks on paper.
- Knight Destroyer
- Ortenzia
- Nube Negra
