Much improved since tackling this trip and sets a good standard having found a useful Godolphin newcomer too good at Newmarket. He was never really travelling until the latter stages and there must be concerns this track may prove too sharp.

New Approach half-brother to Irish Derby and St Leger runner-up Midas Touch and also to Coronet who won the Ribblesdale in these silks. Much to like about that pedigree and yard have had an excellent autumn with this age group.

New Approach colt and half-brother to Hamada who won a 1m2f contest as a juvenile. Hails from an in form yard who have a tremendous crop of youngsters and no surprise to see him play a major role.
Teofilo colt and first foal of a 1m2f winner. Stable 4-9 in last fortnight including two from this age group. Worth a market check.

Noted putting in some good late work on Newmarket debut. Went off at a relatively short price for a newcomer from this yard so had clearly shown something at home. This trip should suit based on that performance and yard are going well.

120,000 gns foal and closely related to useful miler Eynhallow and half-brother to Group 3 winner Gale Force Ten. Stable (9-20 with this age group here) had a couple of juvenile winners last week, but both had the benefit of a previous run.

Photographer (7/4), Silverbook (3/1), Supernova (7/2), Ulster (7/1), Making Miracles (7/1), Smart Champion (16/1)

Verdict

Photographer makes plenty of appeal on pedigree but the family have improved as three-year-olds. He remains one to note in the market along with fellow newcomers Ulster, Silverbook and Smart Champion. Making Miracles sees this trip out well and probably wants further. He was soon off the bridle at Newmarket last time but stayed on well up the hill. This sharper track may not suit this tall type and preference is for SUPERNOVA. There was a lot to like about his Newmarket debut when going off at a relatively short price for a newcomer from this in form yard. Their horses come on a lot for a run and he is chosen to open his account this time.
  1. Supernova
  2. Silverbook
  3. Making Miracles
