His sole chase win so far came very much out of the blue at Perth in August 2016 and his form since then has been rather a mixed bag. He did manage to fare better than his previous two runs in the spring at the same venue and now back from a break.
Really got on a roll over fences from May-June this year scoring four times in succession with his mark going from 77 to 109 improving on each occasion. Two subsequent runs have seen him struggle off higher marks; longer trip begs a question.
Now had four runs for this yard and really hasn't shown much in any of them and continues to look out of sorts. Hard to construct a case for this one apart from the fact he's now below his last winning mark.
In better form around a year ago recording back-to-back wins at Wetherby and here over further. Appeared to lose his way after that and his last three runs resemble a bad Scrabble hand PU-PU-PU; break and no headgear will have to work the oracle.
Fairly useful chaser at his best (won 10L at Hexham in early 2016) but has failed to show anything like that form since. Did manage a point-to-point in the spring but was well beaten in two hunter chases after that by 32L and 54L.

Five go to post here and there really isn’t a solid profile amongst them of late although both No Such Number and Blue Kascade have been in multiple winning form at some point in their careers. If either of those can bounce back to that sort of form after a break they will be of interest here but both come with risks attached. Not quite to the same extent so does BRIGHT PROSPECT although at least his most recent run showed a bit more promise and a break may have done him good with this mark not beyond him. Both Chicago Outfit and Swantykay have been capable of better in the past but like all of the runners in this they come with risks in what is an unappealing betting finale.
