Galileo newcomer is a half-sister to a 1m1f dirt winner in the US. Dam 1m winning half-sister to Derby winner Ruler Of The World and multiple Group One winner Duke Of Marmalade. Trainer on a high and this debutant has a very exciting pedigree.
€62,000 yearling by More Than Ready is a half-sister to three US winners at up to 1m. Trainer not been in best of form of late and two-year olds tend to come on for run so best watched unless market says otherwise.
Newcomer by sprint ace Dandy Man out of a dam who won over 7½f. This her fifth foal but first to race. Trainer 0 from 23 with two year olds in last 5 years.
Not disgraced on racecourse debut last month when racing prominently before fading into eighth of 11 beaten 6¼L. Drops in trip and switches to AW. More needed here although she may progress but champion jockey not on board this time.
At the rear throughout and finished last on debut here just under a month ago. Similar conditions today so no reason to suggest she can make the huge step needed to be involved.
Beaten 18L on debut and regressed on her second start when 37L last of 10 at Naas. Imagine she will soon be handicapping and hard to envisage her playing a major role here.
Well supported at big prices on debut and almost rewarded each-way backers when a 4¼L fourth of 16 at Leopardstown. Lots to like about that effort and she is expected to be involved here now switched to AW.
€5,000 foal by Zebedee out of a dam who raced at up to 2m without success. Has a stamina laden dam side and doesn't look to be top of the pecking order from trainer's trio.
Encouraging enough debut over this C&D last month when a never nearer seventh beaten 9L. Expecting an improved showing here with the champion jockey able to negotiate the outside post.
One of two debutants for trainer here. This daughter of Farhh is the first foal from an unraced sister to winners from 7f to 1m2f including Group Three. Appears second string on jockey bookings and trainer not in great form.
Trainer runs three here and this the only one with form. Didn't run badly on debut at Naas considering 50/1 odds but little progress next time at Leopardstown when 11th. Hello Brigette was 8L ahead last time and unlikely to turn that round.
Forecasts
Hello Brigette (10/11), Palariva (3/1), Teardrop Island (7/1), Blackgold Fairy (9/1), Anchovy (10/1), Portally Cove (14/1), High Susie (33/1), Footstepinparadise (33/1), Cross Cover (33/1), Greengage (100/1), Forgotten Already (100/1)
The best form on offer here belongs to HELLO BRIGETTE who ran an excellent race on debut and the market interest she attracted suggests it was no surprise to connections. With the expected progress she should make from that strong debut she is the one they all have to beat. Newcomer Anchovy merits respect given her excellent pedigree and any market support would be highly significant. Palariva is another worthy of consideration having made notable made headway on her debut here.
