1-2 on the Flat, that win being on debut in a Nottingham maiden (1m2f, soft) last year for John Gosden. Was a maiden over hurdles in five runs for Dan Skelton and then beaten 15½L on stable debut last time. Mark looks inflated on that evidence.
Scored over C&D (good to soft) two starts ago in a lady amateurs' handicap from a mark of 62, but well held in a Newcastle claimer last time. Up another 3lb officially but not without a chance if he can produce something like his best.
Sole success came in a Haydock handicap (1m2½f, good) in May 2016 when rated 72. Has suffered a huge slide since then and was beaten 21L last of nine at Hamilton (1m3f, good) last time. Very hard to fancy based on that.
All three of his wins have been this year, those on turf both being at this trip at Ripon (good to firm) in a seller and then in a Beverley handicap (good). Badly out of form in all three starts since then but not ruled out if on a going day.
Sole turf win was over 1m (good) but went close over this trip at Haydock and Newmarket in the summer, one from a mark of 73. Ran quite well in a claimer at Windsor last month and should be thereabouts.
Shows her best form with cut in the ground and her sole win came on heavy. Yet to convince over this trip and seems best over a bit shorter. Not completely ruled out though others make more appeal at the weights.
Yet to finish within 16L of the winner or get close to making the frame in 10 starts in maidens and handicaps. Has a mountain to climb from this rating and impossible to recommend her.
Forecasts
Restive (15/8), Outback Blue (9/4), Coroberee (3/1), Little Pippin (15/2), Metronomic (14/1), Clayton Hall (66/1), Just Heather (125/1)
Coroberee appears to have lost his way somewhat and although he has only had two starts on the Flat, he didn't look to be the horse that won on debut when well beaten last time. Cheekpieces may help with a revival but at present he has the look of a gelding who has a false rating an preference is for OUTBACK BLUE. David Evans' four-year-old has sufficient form to think that he will be closely involved and he might be up to the task. Metronomic and Restive are the other two to concentrate on.
