Unraced gelded son of Definite Article out of a mare who was placed in a bumper. Worth a check in the market for a yard with a 20% strike-rate (2/10) in recent weeks.
Well held in two outings for Robert Walford most recently in a novice hurdle at Exeter (good-to-soft) in February. Probably best watched on debut for a new yard.
Winner of two of his three bumpers for trainer Stuart Kittow. Latest victory came over an extended 2m1f at Fontwell (good-to-firm) in August and this drop in trip isn't certain to suit on hurdling and stable debut.
Victorious three times on the Flat in Germany including on good-to-soft ground over 1m2f in July. Represents a leading stable today and is one to note on his hurdling debut.
Off the mark at the fourth time of asking in point-to-points at Charing (good-to-firm) in April. Subsequently finished fourth in a point-to-point bumper on his sole start for previous yard and making his hurdling and yard debut.
Maiden after 14 starts and pulled up over 2m on good-to-firm ground here on hurdles debut in April. Others make more appeal.
Successful three times on the Flat and running well in that sphere in the main this year. Stable have a 32% strike-rate (48/152) here and he is one for the shortlist on hurdling debut.
Victorious over an extended 1m7f in a Musselburgh (good) bumper on her final outing for previous yard. Wore a hood (retained) for the first time when well held in a Grade 2 bumper on debut for this yard in April and making her hurdling debut today.
Sent off a big price when finishing well beaten in a similar race to this over C&D on good-to-soft ground last month. Best watched at present.
Forecasts
Parthenius (13/8), William Hunter (5/2), King Vince (9/2), Roll Of The Dice (6/1), Downloadtheapp (12/1), Drops Of Jupitor (14/1), Flo'sboy Sam (33/1), Sunday In The Park (66/1), Spice Boat (100/1)
Trainer Alan King boasts a good strike-rate at this venue and his WILLIAM HUNTER can get off the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles having been racing on the Flat in recent seasons. The selection has been contesting competitive events over 1m4f in the main this year and is taken to defeat the ex-German-trained Parthenius who makes his debut for Dan Skelton today. The mare Drops Of Jupitor, who is another debuting over hurdles today can claim third on this occasion.
