Never better than third in nineteen career starts in France. Returns from a layoff for new yard but opening handicap mark looks harsh.
Sixth of 13 beaten 14½L here on handicap debut last month over a furlong further. Eased slightly for that and ought to go well.
On the go throughout the summer and won on good ground at Uttoxeter in a novice hurdle. Decent second beaten 6L at same venue last month in a handicap and no reason she won't go well again.
80 rated on the flat but unplaced in four hurdle races over the summer. More promise when a close fourth latest at Stratford when not a clear run at the bypassed two out. Yet to try soft ground over hurdles but won on it on flat.
Well beaten in three hurdle races although he managed a remote third at Bangor last month. Might be that he needs further on evidence so far but competitive in an ordinary contest.
Placed twice on heavy ground last winter in novice races here and at Ayr. Tailed off in similar conditions on handicap debut when last seen so questions to answer now.
Poor efforts in latest two starts, her lone handicap runs. Distant last at Doncaster followed by a pulled up run at Fakenham when she stopped rapidly and questions to answer on reappearance.
Former French trained maiden ran a respectable third on recent reappearance at Kelso under today's leading Northern jockey. Softer ground and a step back in trip may both suit so he's expected to go well 2lb lower in the handicap.
Handicap debutant shown little in four starts over hurdles to date. This a weak contest to start off in handicaps but significantly more needed.
Winning chaser for Gary Moore but beaten just two rivals in four starts for current yard and completely tailed off here last month. Unplaced in all seven hurdle races.
Not disgraced in three bumpers but beaten out of sight in all three hurdle races to date including when beaten over 100L when last seen. Handicap debut but hard to be enthusiastic.
Former French trained maiden is yet to even place in nine starts for current yard and was pulled up when last seen in the summer. Of very limited ability.
Forecasts
Castletown (4/1), Bridane Rebel (5/1), Ocean Eleven (6/1), Versifier (13/2), Celtic Flames (7/1), Dulce Panem (8/1), Chozen (10/1), Bering Upsun (10/1), Wig Wam Wiggle (14/1), Christmas In Usa (20/1), Instingtive (25/1), Herecomesnelson (25/1)
BRIDANE REBEL won over hurdles in the summer, something which few of these have or ever will do so she will take all of the beating after another good run last time out. Ocean Eleven caught the eye running well last time out and his best days should be ahead of him so he is worth considering. Another who can't be dismissed is the lightly raced Celtic Flames who has shown enough to be involved in a race of this nature.
- Bridane Rebel
- Ocean Eleven
- Celtic Flames
