Mare has gained all three career successes here, two of them over C&D and most recently in May off a mark of 58. September's close second off rating of 63 in stronger class than this bodes well and rates a big player.
Yet to produce best stuff on artificial surface, but only had two goes, both here. Latest brought a 2½L seventh of 14 in a bunched finish over 7f in September. Rated 3lb lower having run average race at Redcar since and stays this mile trip.
Left previous form well behind when causing 25/1 shock over 7f here in January on just seventh outing. Been off 281-days since and will shoulder an extra 6lb for that win in what may be a deeper contest. Market check required.
Won C&D maiden in January narrowly, well held both handicaps on turf at Sandown and Nottingham since coming back from 258 days off. Both runs came over 1m2f, drops back for AW return.
Has just a Lingfield maiden over this trip in January to show from 23 starts thus far. Capable of going close from this sort of mark at this level now having first AW start for this trainer. 7lb claimer also helps.
Couple of good efforts over 7f at Ayr on turf in June have been isolated amongst plenty poor showings since returning from 435-day absence. First start for this yard and may be best watched at the moment.
Capable sort who bounced back to form this season when given a chance by the handicapper, winning three times off marks up to 59. All career wins on turf however and mark now appears high enough for AW return.
Scored couple of AW wins towards end of 2016, including over C&D off a mark of 58, nowhere near good enough in six runs this year however and remains 6lb above previous win mark now switched from turf.
Suited by this surface, as a win and a close second last time out at this track both indicate. Has been nudged up another couple of pounds for that last run, but holds chances if not caught out by 86-day break. Market may guide.
Filly on good terms with herself as she racked up a hat-trick of 7f wins over the summer, both on AW and turf. Held at Kempton in August when upped to a mile (3L fourth of 14) and has a further 3lb to contend with on return.
An infrequent winner, but is falling in the weights to a winnable mark and is back for another autumn/winter campaign on the AW at Newcastle. Never a factor over C&D 15 days ago, races from 6lb lower mark now.
Gelding won over 1m1f at Carlisle (heavy) in September off mark of 55, back on the AW now and more than capable of having on these terms if anywhere near best.
Remains a maiden after 10 starts but has run the odd respectable race, produced career-best when close fourth of 13 over this trip at Carlisle (good to soft) in August. Acts on AW and not crossed off back here.
Three career wins (from 32 attempts) have come on turf, but beaten under 1L into fourth of 13 over this C&D in September and returns now off the same mark in a similar depth of contest. Has to be taken seriously on that effort.
Forecasts
Anna Medici (7/2), Dubaitwentytwenty (7/2), Table Manners (7/1), Whitkirk (8/1), Supreme Power (9/1), Weather Front (11/1), Rey Loopy (12/1), Billy Bond (12/1), Thornaby Nash (12/1), Black Hambleton (16/1), Rebel State (25/1), Magistral (25/1), Dream Team (25/1), Haymarket (28/1)
Anna Medici returns from a short break and was in fine fettle previous to be denied a four-time at Kempton in August. She is much-respected on her return despite carrying another 3lb. DUBAITWENTYTWENTY won a maiden over C&D in January and could get back on track now having run both handicaps since her return to action over longer trips. She appears worth a chance in an open heat. The likes of Table Manners, Whitkirk and Thornaby Nash are also worthy of a second glance.
- Dubaitwentytwenty
- Anna Medici
- Table Manners
