Easy winner of a novice auction at Ayr (7f, good) in July but has paid for that with stiff handicap mark. Perhaps not helped with both nursery runs being on softer ground, switches to the AW with something to prove for now however.
Run some promising races, notably here over 6f in late June when just denied and on nursery bow at Carlisle not long after. Will surely pay to forgive latest Redcar effort, coming off a break and with some soft in the going.
C&D win early last month was followed up in style with success over a mile here, bids for the hat-trick now under latest 7lb hike, which makes things tougher. Potentially still on the upgrade.
Narrowly denied in second on debut at Nottingham (6f, good to soft) on debut in August, has failed to match that level in either AW outing at Kempton since. Cheekpieces on for nursery bow but has plenty improvement to find.
Promising debut at Goodwood over 6f (good) in August, before perhaps finding 5f a bit sharp on AW at Chelmsford. Latest effort forgiven on soft at Beverley and there could be improvement lurking now handicapping for the first time over this trip.
Some consistent efforts on his record already in seven starts, including last time out at Catterick over this trip on good to soft. Pick of his form gives him claims if handling AW first time out.
Much-improved for the fitting of a visor recently, scoring in 6f Catterick nursery early last month and just denied in Pontefract novice auction since. All runs have come with some form of give in the ground, but will be a contender if handling AW.
Improving with each run so far and has already acquitted himself well over C&D, some questions to answer in returning from 102-day break for nursery bow and market may help steer expectations in that regard.
Improved for each of three turf runs to date, most recently going down narrowly over this trip at Thirsk on good ground in August, short break to overcome for handicap bow but looks to hold a decent claim if stripping fit.
Couple of positive runs from three outings in novice company on turf, trip no concern and opening handicap mark certainly affords the filly a chance in this field if she handles the AW first time up.
Forecasts
Emerald Rocket (11/8), Move It Move It (3/1), Bowler Hat (9/1), Fortunate Vision (10/1), Austin Powers (12/1), Poet's Prince (12/1), Urban Soul (14/1), Enrolment (20/1), Tarnhelm (28/1), Hello My Sunshine (33/1)
TARNHELM showed some decent potential on debut at Goodwood in August and perhaps hasn't had conditions to suit in her two outings since. She makes her handicap bow tackling 7f for the first time and could be an improver for it. Mark Johnston does well here and his team are in super form lately. Fortunate Vision has really come forward in his new headgear and looks a major player once more if he handles the surface while Move It Move It should be all the better for the recent run at Redcar and has well here before. C&D winner Emerald Rocket remains on the upgrade though must cope with another ratings hike after denied over a mile here last time.
- Tarnhelm
- Emerald Rocket
- Fortunate Vision
