Prolific AW scorer whose lone hurdle win came her over 2m½f. Drops into a seller for first time but moderate efforts lately on flat at Kempton and back over hurdles at Huntingdon leave him with a bit to find.
Won first ever hurdle (22nd attempts) in first start for this yard in July . Unsuccessful since and latest effort, his first seller saw him beaten 18L into fourth here over 2m. Pulled hard and tired as a result there so longer trip a concern.
Ran at a comparably high level for Mouse Morris in Ireland before transfer two starts ago. Pulled up in first start for this yard at Kelso before tailed off effort in warm race at Chepstow. Best form in book but recent efforts woeful.
Landed a four-timer between late 2015 and early 2016 but now on 14 race losing streak. Progressively worse form last season culminating in a tailed off last. Back from long layoff for new yard here and plenty of question marks over him at present.
Maiden of 13 races in all whose recent third of six in a Fakenham seller was his best effort to date albeit he was beaten 22L. Would have to take a step forward but best days should be ahead of him.
Maiden of 28 races in all, six over hurdles. Comfortably his best run to date over timber two starts back over C&D when 6L second of six. May not have stayed 2m7f latest but back in trip now he can't be totally ruled out.
Dual point-to-point winner over 3m has ran with promise in novice hurdles at Southwell and Worcester since switch to leading yard. Dropped to a seller today and with cheek-pieces added he looks a leading player.
Won a couple of poor AW races on the level but little to recommend her based on two hurdle contest so far. Beaten 20L at Market Rasen first up before tailed-off effort at Huntingdon. Dropped in class but still hard to fancy.
Beaten 69L in lone bumper before 31L defeat at 150/1 on hurdles bow at Worcester and tailed off 12th of 14 at Chepstow last time at 200/1. This considerably easier but would still take a leap of faith to recommend her.
Forecasts
Royal Beekeeper (6/4), Alamein (9/4), Elysian Prince (5/1), Gold Class (12/1), Hongkong Adventure (14/1), Ocean Bentley (16/1), Clock On Tom (25/1), Fast Play (50/1), Madame Ember (200/1)
Dan Skelton looks to have found a nice spot for ROYAL BEEKEEPER to get off the mark here. He has shown some ability in two hurdle races to date and won two point-to-points so should find a race like this well within his compass. How much ability Alamein retains is hard to gauge but it would be a disappointment if he wasn't involved in a race as weak as this. Elysian Prince may prove best of the rest.
