A mare who has been around various yards, and raced most consistently on the AW last winter (mainly at Newcastle), but regularly found one stronger. Effective at this track (C&D winner), so couldn't be dismissed from a reasonable mark.
A runner up at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start in late September (6f), and excuses at Kempton latest, but whilst on a mark which sees him as competitive, he's probably just restricted in terms of achieving further success.
Below par for the majority of 2017, and that explains the application of first time cheek-pieces. Proved he was capable as a juvenile, but ideally may need to drop a couple of more pounds in the weights. 0 from 1 on the AW.
Enjoyed a productive spell at the turn of the year, winning three on the bounce (Lingfield, Kempton and Wolverhampton). Kept on well from the rear when beaten under 1L by Red Alert at Lingfield latest (6f).
A reliable synthetics performer, who races from the same mark as when beaten two necks by Higher Court at Kempton (6f) on his penultimate start. First time cheek-pieces are applied and likely to have a key role to play on debut here.
Took advantage of a lower AW rating (than turf) when successful in a 6f fillies handicap at Wolverhampton last month. That disparity has been addressed by a 4lb rise, but a tough sort who is likely to be thereabouts now returned to form.
Quirky and on a lengthy losing run, but finished fourth (one place and ½L behind Born To Finish) when close up to the winner Red Alert at Lingfield latest (6f). Returns seeking to break his AW duck (0 from 7) under the same young rider.
Has a respectable overall win ratio (7 from 28), but has lost her way since taking a Thirsk seller in July (5f). AW proven, mainly at Lingfield, but needs to bounce back to form now eased in the weights.
His sole career success came in a 5f Lingfield seller (December 2016) for previous trainer Joseph Tuite. Absent since mid February, he returns to action for another winter AW campaign for a new trainer.

Debonaire David (2/1), Love Oasis (10/3), Born To Finish (9/2), Anfaass (6/1), Higher Court (6/1), Fredricka (12/1), Spin Top (16/1), Lord Cooper (16/1), Bahamian Heights (25/1), Nag's Wag (28/1)
A race in which a number of the runners are closely matched based upon some recent clashes. Born To Finish and Bahamian Heights finished third and fourth respectively when close up behind Red Alert at Lingfield recently (6f), and of that pair the more reliable former named is preferred. Higher Court just got the better of the proven synthetics performer Debonaire David at Kempton (6f) early last month, but the Richard Hughes trained runner can be fancied to extract his revenge from a better draw tonight (Chelmsford debut). However, he could be forced to play second fiddle to recent Wolverhampton winner LOVE OASIS. She landed a fillies handicap when returning to form, and whilst 4lb higher tonight, she remains well treated on the pick of her career form, and in truth this isn't the strongest of contests in which to attempt to follow up.
- Love Oasis
- Debonaire David
- Higher Court
