Lost his way slightly over the summer but returned to something like his true form with two good efforts the last twice, and is the only horse on the card representing either the Champion Trainer or this top jockey.

Verdict

It's interesting that Nicky Henderson has sent Barman here, along with stable jockey Nico De Boinville for his only ride of the day, but MAN OF PLENTY makes more appeal following a fine second at Cheltenham last weekend. The same conditional rider is able to claim 2lb more in this race which all but cancels out the horse's 3lb higher rating, and a repeat of that performance would surely see him go very close. Cloonacool hasn't been at his best of late but based on previous form completes the tricast.
