Bred to want a bit of time and didn't pull up any trees on debut in a Southwell bumper in February. Will do better but likely to need this.
Yard hitting stride now and this one has to be taken seriously after his third to the improving Barton Knoll at Wetherby, a mistake late in the day costing him a shot at the win. Drop back in trip not ideal but still a player.
Irish raider that didn't show enough on debut at Roscommon to be of interest here, although better ground may help. Still plenty to find and others preferred.
Winner of two Irish point-to-points, purchased by current connections for £10,000 earlier in the year. Has joined a top yard but must be a question of the suitability of this harp two miles being enough of a test. Respected nevertheless.
Well beaten on all three starts (two point-to-points and a maiden hurdle) and jumping left a bit to be desired last time too. No realistic chance here.
Hasn't shown much in three starts to date, never in the race at Exeter on hurdles debut earlier in the month and hard to make a solid case for at present, but likely to do better at some stage.
Some ability in point-to-points and far from disgraced on bumper debut at Chepstow (in a good race for the grade). One more likely for handicaps down the line but worth a look in the market all the same.
From a good family (closely related to very useful chaser Barbers Shop) and could do no more than win on debut at Southwell, although the application of the hood again signals he was a little keen there. Obvious chances again if settling early.
Tailed off all three starts and has achieved very little to date. Others readily preferred.
Related to plenty of good chase/hurdle winners and has already shown ability in two bumpers, running the useful Dans Le Vent to 3½l on debut at Towcester. Should continue to improve and if fit after a break, place chances here.
Tailed off on only start at Fontwell, having been sent off a big price, and makes next to no appeal here.
Forecasts
Royal Ruby (1/1), Atlantic Grey (2/1), Free Range (5/1), Schap (8/1), Not A Role Model (40/1), Doumba (50/1), Arthur's Reuben (50/1), Suit Her (66/1), Linkenholt (66/1), Wisecracker (100/1), Golden Jet (125/1)
Royal Ruby looks the one to beat on his Southwell win, but he's likely to be a short price here and may not represent much in the way of value. ATLANTIC GREY does have to answer the question of this shorter trip but he was probably unlucky not to go close at Wetherby last time and can gain compensation here. Schap hasn't done much wrong and if the first-time hood works, she can get in the mix, along with Free Range, who represents a powerful yard.
