Unraced gelding by Mahler out of an unraced Turtle Island mare (Ellesmere). Second foal who cost £4,500 as a three-year-old.
Unraced gelding by Dubai Destination out of an unraced mare (Satco Street). Cost €15,000 as a three-year-old. A ninth foal who wears a tongue tie and represents a trainer who sponsors this race. Half-brother to Cabragh and Spirit Calling.
€23,000 three-year-old first foal by Saint Des Saints out of Legende Du Luy. Beaten just over 15L when third of seven to subsequent hurdles scorer Beyond The Clouds at Worcester in September (2m good).
Unraced gelding by Stowaway out of an unraced dam (Lisacul Queen). Second foal who cost €40,000 as a three-year-old, and debuts for a leading trainer, claimer ridden, wearing a hood.
20L runner up on his second start in an Irish point-to-point in April (3m Lisronagh), and sold at Doncaster the following month for £16,000. Makes his rules debut for new connections.
16L third to Kildownet in a 3m maiden at Dromahane in March (soft), and has moved onto pastures new since. Second foal out of the three time point winner Strawberry Lane, and a half-brother to another point winner; White Lilac. Rules debut.
Unraced grey gelding by Getaway out of Whisky Rose. Second foal who cost €48,000 as a three-year-old, and is a half-brother to the useful bumper performer Air Horse One. Strong jockey booking, representing high profile owners.
Unraced Milan gelding out of Up The Style (bumper placed). Cost €42,000 as a three-year-old, and whilst of obvious interest on debut given his connections, he should come into his own over longer trips with more time.
Not shown anywhere near enough ability in three starts in bumpers so far to merit any consideration whatsoever in an overly competitive contest.
Unraced mare by Black Sam Bellamy out of an unraced Gunner B mare (Gundreda). Her dam was a sister to the talented staying chaser Gunner Welburn, so this mare can perhaps do much better herself with time and experience. Tongue tied.
Forecasts
One For Rosie (5/2), Stylish Moment (11/4), Haul Away (7/2), Francky Du Berlais (11/2), Neachells Bridge (7/1), Bronzallure (25/1), Lissycasey (40/1), Gamboling Gigi (50/1), Brights Park (66/1), Celer Et Audax (100/1)
A divided bumper with which to conclude the Tuesday Bangor-on-Dee action, and a contest which promises to offer plenty for the future. A number of the leading stables are represented by newcomers, whilst Oliver Greenall saddles Bronzeallure in bidding to capture his own (sponsored) race. By Milan, Stylish Moment could require the combination of a longer trip and obstacles in order to be seen at his best, but he represents a trainer (Alan King) who has done extremely well with his bumper runners so far this term, whilst Haul Away also deserves maximum respect hailing from Seven Barrows and having cost €40,000 as a three-year-old. However, it is the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained newcomer ONE FOR ROSIE who gets the nod. This grey gelding by Getaway is a half-brother to the useful bumper/hurdles winner Air Horse One, and not only represents high profile owners, but also has a very talented young rider aboard for his racecourse debut this afternoon.
