Was running well in the early part of the summer but looks to have completely lost his form and is hard to fancy on recent form even though returning to hurdles.

Prospectus18
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: Paul Townend| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  129| D
7/4
Beaten favourite when backed to win a Galway handicap over 1m4f on soft ground last month following a progressive hurdling campaign last term., where he returns to here and can go close.

Go Darsi Go538
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-6| J: Ricky Doyle(5)| T: C O'Dwyer| OR:  124
12/1
Winner over the larger obstacles when last seen in May 2016 on chasing debut. Clearly has had fitness issues and the market is possibly the best guide here.
4
Horse silk
Draycott Placet14
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: Danny Mullins| T: J P Ryan| OR:  123| BF
5/1
Beaten favourite last time out when third of 13 beaten 7½L in a Cork handicap chase. Now back to 1lb below his last winning hurdle mark and looks set for a place.

Placed in all five starts in the summer winning twice at Bellewstown and Clonmel, before fifth of 11 beaten 5½L Could struggle on the ground and still 14lb higher than last win.

Hallmarkp,t64
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-9| J: Mark Walsh| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  113| D
9/2
Still only one from eight over hurdles but not disgraced in two hurdle starts over the summer. Could improve for first-time cheekpieces.
7

Soir De Chantenay19
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: L P Dempsey| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  117| D
20/1
Won three of four starts in France but unsuccessful since in nine starts including failing to finish last time out when tailed off at Galway earlier in the month. Needs to improve to figure.

The Major General41
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-1| J: M A Enright| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  109
8/1
½L defeat by Ulysses on the flat last summer shows his ability but achieved very little in four starts over timber since. 12½L fifth last time his best effort over this C&D but more needed in first handicap.
9

He's Our Mant14
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Flanagan| T: A McCann| OR:  104| D
7/1
Solid and consistent over the summer over hurdles and on the Flat and deserves a change of luck. Shouldn't be underestimated.

Forecasts

Prospectus (7/4), Hallmark (9/2), Draycott Place (5/1), He's Our Man (7/1), The Major General (8/1), Kylecrue (12/1), Go Darsi Go (12/1), Stormey (12/1), Soir De Chantenay (20/1)

Verdict

Kylecrue doesn't like to hang about and set a decent pace for the two mile hurdle. PROSPECTUS is the most likely one to benefit from the early running style of the leader and Soir De Chantenay. The Gavin Cromwell-trained gelding is a progressive hurdler and can go close here. Draycott Place and Go Darsi Go can claim minor honours.
