Improving young handicapper who proved his 100/1 success here in April was no fluke by adding another track success in July. Took a valuable Ascot prize last month and a big run two weeks ago confirms his progress.
Made it four wins from just nine starts when holding on gamely to win at Doncaster during Leger week. Failed to figure in the Cesarewitch but should find this shorter trip to his liking. Looks a smart horse in the making.
Winner of two slowly run races but quickened impressively in bad ground at Haydock. Current BHA rating may underestimate him and that ability to quicken would be an asset if this turns into a sprint.

Royal Line is a horse of immense promise who puts his unbeaten record on the line against two horses who set a high standard for this conditions race. John Gosden's charge displayed an ability to quicken in holding ground last time and that would be an asset if this proved tactical. The presence of TIME TO STUDY may make this the first truly run contest that Royal Line has faced and he has achieved more in his career so far. His fifth in the Queen's Vase marks him as a useful stayer and he would be expected to try and run the finish out of his rivals. Duke Of Bronte likes it here and has enjoyed an incredible season. He continues to progress but official ratings suggest he has a stiff task
