Ran only to a similar level at Chepstow last time out despite an improved placing compare to his debut, but this trip may well suit on AW debut.
Narrowly denied at a short price at Newcastle last time out but raced keenly there. Needs to settle over this longer trip but clearly has ability.
Three of his four starts in maidens have looked promising, and a replication of his form from last time out may well be enough to get off the mark here.
Has gone close to getting off the mark in maiden company in the past and steps up in trip here. More exposed than most of these and probably vulnerable a more lightly-raced opponent. First-time cheekpieces on.
Has only finished within 10L of a winner once in his career so far, and that was over shorter than this. Looks likely to be out of his depth once again here.
Only narrowly beaten in three starts so far when looking as if this longer trip should suit. Something to find with Musaahim on ratings but should improve further.
Almost a year since her only career start to date when shaping with promise over 1m. Has to prove she stays this far and also has the lay-off to contend with.
Forecasts
Marine One (9/4), Musaahim (5/2), Ocean Of Love (4/1), Mahabba (7/1), Steaming (8/1), Assiduous (10/1), Two Dollars (66/1)
A few unknown quantities here, especially with so many of the contenders stepping up in trip for the first time. MUSAAHIM has only run one poor race out of three so far, and on the evidence of a fine third at Kempton last time out should improve for this longer distance for a top trainer. Kept on the Polytrack, this looks a good opportunity for him to get off the mark. Mahabba is in a similar situation and should be the main danger, while Assidious should be capable of showing more than he has in his two starts to date.
- Musaahim
- Mahabba
- Assiduous
