Returned to form when second over C&D last time and has prospects if replicating that display. A 2lb rise slightly tempers enthusiasm.
Has run only three times on AW surfaces, but won once and was placed in the other two races. Not at his best since joining current stable, however, and needs to find his best form to figure.
Wore cheekpieces for the first time when scoring at Chepstow two starts ago, but was not so effective in them last time. Connections reach for a visor this time in a bid to register a first AW success.
Has won three times on turf, but has raced only once on the AW, finishing a promising third of 10 at Kempton on latest start. The extra 1f should suit so she looks a player given she is still unexposed on this type of surface.
Has failed to win on turf, but won one of his two races on the AW. Should do better switched back to a synthetic surface and is worth a check in the betting.
Landed two 6f handicaps on turf in the summer and has generally run well off higher marks since. Effective on the AW and is certainly one to consider.
Two wins from only six starts and ran well in a much better race over 7f at Newmarket last time. First start on the AW, but back to the distance of her two wins and goes on the short list.
Won twice over C&D when trained by Jamie Osborne and returns to British racing after a spell in Bahrain. Hard to know what to expect, but worth keeping an eye on.
Won a 7f Redcar maiden in May, but has not been able to win in handicaps since then. Ran well over this trip at Newmarket two starts ago and enters calculations in first-time cheekpieces.
Has been running respectably and, given he is 1-3 on the AW, he is worth considering on his return to this sort of surface. A 5lb higher mark than for his last win is a concern, however.
Defied a wide draw to make all over C&D earlier this month. Has gone up 3lb, but races from the inside stall this time and may take some catching if getting away quickly.

Forecasts
Dark Side Dream (7/2), Show Stealer (4/1), Goring (9/2), Tropical Rock (5/1), Parnassian (8/1), Secondo (8/1), Related (16/1), Patchwork (16/1), Whirl Me Round (20/1), Mr Pocket (25/1), Absolute Champion (50/1), Just An Idea (50/1)
Dark Side Dream may be hard to catch if getting away quickly from his plum draw, while top weight Secundo and Show Stealer boast good recent course form and are feared, but the vote goes to TROPICAL ROCK, who has a good strike rate in her short career and ran well in a much better contest than this on turf last time. Mr Pocket, Patchwork, Related and Goring should also make their presence felt in an open contest.
- Tropical Rock
- Dark Side Dream
- Patchwork
