Three-times winner on the Flat, but still to break his duck over hurdles after six attempts. Well held on last two starts at Worcester and has plenty to do off top weight.
Best run in six starts over hurdles saw him finish third of 10 at Fongtwell in February. Pulled up at Ffos Las when last seen in March, he needs to be back on song after his break if he is to have a chance of defying this handicap mark.
Won an AW Flat middle-distance handicap when trained by Stewart Edmunds, but has shown little on the level and over hurdles for current trainer. Plenty to prove.
Seemed to like this track when third over 3m in February, but was well beaten at Wincanton the following month. Has been given a rest and returns to action off a feasible mark.
Had been struggling on the Flat before reverting to hurdles at this track last month when he could finish only 10th of 14. Hard to fancy on that display.
Well beaten on his last visit to this track and two subsequent Flat outings on the AW have been equally disappointing. Needs to find a spark from somewhere.
Last seen when finishing a close second in a point-to-point in May. Hurdles form before that for Tim Easterby was ordinary and he will need to find much more.
Well held in handicap hurdles in the summer, but has dropped 3lb, returns from a break and is fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Interesting to see if there is any market support for her.
Unseated rider at the start on latest outing at Bangor, and displays before that were uninspiring. Best watched until returning to form.
Flopped at Southwell last time, but had run well to be second at Lingfield in January off 2lb lower. Chance on that display, but has only run twice this year which is a little disconcerting.
Won a Fakenham handicap hurdle in June, but two subsequent displays on the Flat and a run over hurdles at Worcester have not seen him in his best light. Not hard to oppose.
Without a win after 10 hurdle races and was out of sorts in three runs in 2016. Returns from a lengthy absence and is best watched.
More letters than numbers against his name. Has a chance on his best efforts in 2015/16, but nothing to suggest he is about to return to that level of form.

Forecasts
Homers Odyssey (5/2), St Andrews (7/2), Captain George (4/1), Sea The Springs (9/2), Smart Boy (6/1), Albatros De Guye (8/1), Sisania (9/1), Bennachie (10/1), Beaumont's Party (22/1), Aristocles (25/1), My Lord (33/1), Elusive Cowboy (33/1), Chivers (33/1), Walk Of Gleams (50/1)
Plenty of these are either out of form or returning from a break. Sisania, from a stable which likes winners at this course, is a possibility in first-time cheekpieces and Homers Odyssey is feasibly weighted, but ST ANDREWS gets the vote following some good runs on the Flat and a respectable return to hurdling last time.
- St Andrews
- Homers Odyssey
