Very useful individual on his day but disappointing of late and handicap mark is falling as a result. Rated 20lb lower than for his latest success but unproven on this surface.
Chasing a hat-trick following wins on soft and heavy at Ayr earlier this month. In the form of his life at present and likely to run well again here having won at this venue in the past.
Finished runner-up off a 4lb higher mark on his most recent start over C&D back in May. Disappointing on turf and on the AW at Newcastle since but an interesting runner in this contest.
One of his better efforts when finishing runner-up on soft ground at Chepstow on his penultimate outing. Fair effort over 1m2f since and was a winner over C&D off a 3lb higher mark in January.
Three winner in a 38 race career but disappointed on soft ground at Pontefract last time out and probably best watched on his fibresand debut.
Three time winner over C&D including twice earlier this year. Rated 4lb higher than when winning here in February and probably best watched following some modest turf efforts.
Impressive winner of a 7f handicap here in August. Has to defy a 10lb rise for that success and stamina to prove on just his fourth start over today's trip.
Couple of good placed efforts over C&D last December but disappointing at Newcastle later that month and entitled to improve for her recent return to action at Brighton.

HOUSE OF COMMONS was a winner off a higher mark here back in January and he is taken to add to that victory in this opening contest. The selection has put in some decent efforts on turf since and can get the better of the in form Jay Kay who is another to have won at this track in the past. Fibresand debutant Majestic Moon has fallen in the weights following some modest efforts and can claim third off top weight.
