Arrives seeking a hat-trick following summer course successes, including over this trip on his handicap debut in early August. 8lb higher for an all out ½L victory, but that runner up (Supreme Steel) is a useful sort. Ground ideal and more to offer.
Improved performer around this time last year, winning twice, at Worcester (2m4f maiden) and at Southwell (3m handicap). Kept away from the worst off the winter ground and off since December, he returns still 6lb above his winning mark.
£50,000 purchase who hasn't lived up to expectations just yet, but he looks likely to be suited by this longer trip and still has time very much on his side. Handicap debut and no surprise to see a stronger effort.
Yet to win at this track, but fairly consistent over C&D during the summer. Beaten 1¾L by Blue Comet in early August and renews rivalry on 9lb better terms (with riders claim included). Lacks likely improvement, but couldn't be dismissed.
Not performed badly overall since joining this stable, but not really done enough to suggest his turn is imminent either. Has mainly raced over fences for a while now, with his 8¾L September Hexham third to Champagne Chaser the exception.

Forecasts
Blue Comet (11/10), Red Rising (9/4), It's Your Move (7/2), Hey Bill (9/2), Waltz Darling (5/1), Solway Dandy (7/1), Moorlands Mist (16/1)
A decent contest which should throw up plenty of future winners with the likes of It's Your Move likely to do much better in handicaps over a longer trip. Blue Comet arrives as the form horse, and he's relatively unexposed in handicaps. A dual course winner (including over this trip), his revised mark makes life tougher with his old rival Waltz Darling, but he looks much more progressive than that nine-year-old, so he should confirm the early August course form. However, his biggest danger comes from the handicap debutant RED RISING. He was probably tricky for the assessor to rate, and representing high profile owners, this lightly raced Flemensfirth gelding has a stack of obvious future potential. His winning form so far has come with cut, but his excellent young trainer wouldn't be taking any chances on quicker ground if he didn't think he'd handle the conditions.
