Wide margin winner of a Hereford maiden and took on Grade Two/Three company subsequently. A 4L third to Wholestone looks good in the context of this and his stable continue to bank winners.
2-12 over hurdles including a 17L success this summer. That has done nothing for his handicap mark and he was comfortably next time. Did not take to chasing last time and he faces a stiff task here.
Mark looks right judged on her novice form, but has room to improve when brushing up her jumping. Stable in form and she goes well fresh.
Useful chaser and a C&D winner last November off a slightly lower mark. Would prefer more cut in the ground than is forecast but has gone well after an absence in the past.
Form of February's Warwick victory has not worked out and hardly surprising a 9lb rise found him out next time. Remains on the same mark and he would prefer it softer.
Improved greatly last spring and probably has more to come over this kind of trip. Dam was a 3m winning hurdler and stable are 4-13 in past 14 days. Won after a year's absence in March so clearly goes well fresh.
Cheekpieces helped him to successive wide margin victories last winter and he was not disgraced off this mark here last time. Trip is not a problem, but this is the quickest ground he will have faced and the headgear is removed.
Has two ways of running and looked hard work last time. Lower grade races and Fakenham seem to bring out the best in him.
Forecasts
No Hassle Hoff (1/1), Secret Door (11/4), Wizard's Sliabh (7/1), Cloudy Too (7/1), Aengus (16/1), Oscarteea (20/1), Shinooki (40/1), Catching On (40/1)
SECRET DOOR improved during the spring and there is the likelihood of more to come over this trip which is more in line with her pedigree. Harry Fry has his team in great shape and she goes well fresh. No Hassle Hoff was impressive when shedding his maiden tag and this is probably his easiest task since. Wizard's Sliabh looks the pick of the rest.
