Frankel colt who has his first run for this yard after two outings for Charlie Fellowes. Not shown a great deal so far, but suffered interference last time and is probably much better than he has revealed.
Gelded son of Baltic King whose dam is a half-sister to a 1m2f winner, Never threatened on debut at Chelmsford and almost certainly needs time to develop.
Son of So You Think whose dam was a 1m2f winner. Fetched 85,000 gns as a yearling and made a promising start to his racing career when fourth of 10 at Salisbury after starting slowly. Should be much wiser this time.
March foal by Poet's Voice out of a mare who won up to 1m2f. Closely-related to the 1m3f winner Finidaprest. Sent off at 66-1 when well behind on debut at Kempton and looks a long-term prospect.
Well held in novice events at Salisbury and Leicester. Qualifies for a handicap mark after this and nurseries look his next port of call.
Son of Derby winner Camelot who cost 200,000 gns as a yearling and is out of Elusive Girl, a half-sister to 1m Group 2 winner Aljamaaheer. Did not get a clear run on debut at Kempton, but almost won and should take plenty of beating this time.
Son of excellent sire Mastercraftsman out of a Dalakhani mare who cost 65,000 gns as a yearling. Staying pedigree, so may not be sharp enough on debut, but trainer always to be respected in these types of races.
Not involved at the business end in runs at Salisbury and Newmarket. Can run in handicaps after this and that appears the way to go for this nicely-bred colt.
Son of Foostepsinthesand who fetched €200,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to St Leger runner-up Ventura Storm. Clearly has something about him given his purchase price, but pedigree suggests he may need time to mature.
Campanologist colt who fetched 48,000 gns as a yearling and whose dam won over 1m in Germany. Nicely bred, but may be one for next season.
Forecasts
Msayyan (4/6), Strongarm Chaser (6/1), My Lord And Master (9/1), Ghazan (12/1), Corgi (14/1), Baghdad (16/1), Victory Chime (25/1), Pippin (33/1), Feragust (33/1), College King (100/1)
Unless one of the newcomers is something out of the ordinary - and a few of them are nicely bred - this looks at the mercy of MSAYYAN, who would probably have won on debut at Kempton granted a clearer passage and looks a nice prospect for leading connections. Corgi looks the best of his two stable runners, while there may be more to come from the Frankel colt, Baghdad.
