Won over C&D in August and last two runs have seen her settle for minor honours off a 2lb higher mark. She is another 1lb higher, but is likely to be competitive in her current vein of form.
Lightly raced, but has won three of his 10 races. Only 4lb higher than when last successful in May, but was held off this mark in first-time cheekpieces when last seen in August. Should do better on this easier surface.
Won over this trip on his reappearance at Nottingham, but that was on good to firm. Not overburdened off 5lb higher, but underfoot conditions are a concern.
Has been running well for most of the current campaign and certainly ran his race in the Silver Cambridgeshire at Newmarket last time. This is easier and he is a threat off the same mark.
His one win in six starts came at Wolverhampton last November and he has not been sighted since finishing last of five in a Listed race at Newmarket in May. On a viable handicap mark and can go well if straight enough after his break.
Showed great tenacity to make virtually all at Haydock last time and record his fifth career success. Up 3lb in a race with more depth, but willing attitude will stand him in good stead.
Won a Sandown handicap over this trip in June, but is now 12lb higher after being raised again for finishing a close second at the same track last time. Unproven on this ground, but represents top connections and has to be considered.
Touched off over C&D two starts ago and had a troubled passage when a luckless fifth on his return to this course last time. That form has been boosted by the subsequent easy success of the fourth that day, so he can go close if getting the gaps.
Made all to win back-to-back handicaps at Newbury and Sandown on last two starts. Has gone up 8lb, but is progressive and has to go on the short list.
Just held on from Indian Chief over C&D on latest start and is 1lb worse off. There is likely to be little between the pair again and he is one of several horses with a chance in an open contest.
Progressive handicapper last season and almost certainly needed his belated seasonal reappearance run in a valuable Newbury handicap. Can do much better and is worth a keeping an eye on in the betting market.
Had a good time of it when winning three times in 2015, but is without a win since. Has threatened to win off this sort of mark once or twice, but this looks a decent race and he may come up short.
Looked to be on the upgrade when wining a Newmarket handicap in May, but has been well held since, including when fifth to Capton at Sandown. Others make more appeal.
Not at his best on last two starts after winning at York in July. Connections reach for blinkers in a bid to stage a revival.

Forecasts
Jupiter Light (7/1), King's Pavilion (7/1), Capton (8/1), Indian Chief (8/1), Compton Mill (8/1), Threat Assessed (8/1), Awake My Soul (9/1), Toulson (10/1), Empress Ali (10/1), Mutarakez (12/1), Rotherwick (14/1), Zumurudee (14/1), Zzoro (18/1), In First Place (20/1), Nayel (33/1), Red Tea (33/1)
Awake My Soul showed great resilience to win at Haydock last time and can make another bold bid, while Toulson is much respected back on an easier surface. Jupiter Light is opposable on this softer ground, but Capton is very much in the mix after wins on his last two starts. Compton Mill and INDIAN CHIEF are weighted to finish alongside each other, but this may be the day when things fall right for the latter, who is a hold-up performer who usually travels well. Rotherwick and Zumurudee are others to consider.
- Indian Chief
- Capton
- Compton Mill
