Not bad efforts recently (beaten 2L and 3L the last twice), but still a way below the form required here and beaten over 10L by Ask The Guru at Brighton in August.
C&D winner who is effective both over this trip and further. Raised only 2lb for a very good effort at Chelmsford last time out and has leading claims here from an attractive draw.
Both career victories to date have come over further and she hasn't been at anything like her best recently despite what should be a workable handicap mark. Others hold more convincing claims.
Last year's winner who has won off a much higher mark than this in the past and has shown flashes of his old ability over the summer, but isn't the most reliable and needs to produce his best form to go close here.
More likely to find further improvement than most of these, especially in a first time visor, but he remains a maiden and has struggled to convince in handicap company so far.
No win since December 2015, and has looked a long way below his best form especially since moving to this yard. Much better needed now returning to the Polytrack.
Starts off in handicaps here from the inside draw having hinted at ability in maidens. Best effort came over this trip and should be capable of running her race off this weight.

Forecasts
Swendab (2/1), Lady Joanna Vassa (3/1), Ask The Guru (4/1), Whiteley (5/1), Miss Rosina (6/1), Dontforgettocall (8/1), Emilysbutterscotch (8/1), Archie Stevens (16/1), Pulsating (16/1), Aegean Boy (33/1)
Few of these arrive here in particularly good form, but SWENDAB has been doing better more recently. This C&D winner is effective over both this trip and further, and should be on a workable mark having been raised only 2lb after a most encouraging run at Chelmsford last time out. Things will be tough for Lady Joanna Vassa under a penalty, but she should run her usual good race, while last year's winner Ask The Guru would hold claims if he's in the mood for it today.
