Had won three on the spin over jumps/on Flat, including here over 1m6f (good to firm) prior to flop at Pontefract last month. That run was too bad to be true and may be best forgotten.
Mare has yet to score for this yard (11 runs) but the signs have been there recently, runner-up here in August over 1m4½f and again second over 1m7f (soft) at Ayr 13 days ago off this mark. Looks a leading player.
Pulled up in handicap chase at Hexham over 3m on final start for Brian Ellison, has won on AW over 1m6f off mark of 58 in the past, market check needed on return for new handler.
Experienced performer, comes here on the back of disappointing efforts here (1m6f, good to firm) and over hurdles at Kelso recently. Previously had strung together four good efforts (including here) so not crossed off.
Twice a winner here this year at up to 1m6f, certainly not out of things on ratings and will go on any ground when in the mood. Capable of throwing in the odd wobbler but respected on last time out win.
Winner at Carlisle over 2m1f in August off 2lb lower rating on previous Flat start, under this claiming rider, running well over hurdles since and not taken lightly reverting back to this sphere.
Counts four C&D wins amongst five successes at this track where he has thrived in the past. Most recent of those now a year ago and eight runs this year haven't offered much encouragement, including two visits here.

The mare WOR LASS has to hold leading claims on her two most recent turf starts. She was second over a shorter trip here in August and, 13 days ago, finished a clear second behind an odds-on winner over this trip at Ayr. Running off the same mark now, she can make it nine wins from 39 career starts on turf. Tawseef scored at Carlisle on the Flat in August and has to be respected having done little wrong over timber since while Chebsey Beau had been in cracking form prior to a flop at Pontefract and may be worth forgiving that effort. Jonny Delta has won twice here this year already and must be factored into calculations.
