Fairly solid and consistent performances during the 2015/16 season but disappointed on two occasions last term when pulled-up. Hard to fancy on return to the track.
Genuine and brave veteran who found life tough last season. Not getting any younger and may struggle in the conditions.
Course winner that has won over the distance. Mainly second-rate and disappointing appearances last season and pulled-up on seasonal debut last month at Listowel. Vast improvement needed to play a role here.

Point-to-point winner who progressed to open his account on his handicap debut over hurdles at Clonmel in May 2015 before struggling over fences later that year. Pulled up at the Galway festival following 22 month absence.

Pulled-up on chasing debut at Tramore in August but was coming off a fairly solid and consistent hurdling campaign over the spring and summer. Disappointed again last time out at the same track and others make more appeal.
Solid and consistent over the summer with some promising displays including last time out in a Ballinrobe handicap hurdle over 2m4f beaten a neck behind Eiri Na Casca. Can be expected to play a role.
Well beaten and no impression in three seasonal starts including a 62L defeat last time out at Limerick. First-time cheekpieces may see him in a different light though that is unlikely.
Hadn't been seen out for a couple of years before running with some merit in a couple of maiden hurdles this summer but frustrated last time out at Gowran Park. Others hold stronger profiles.
Not a lot to shout about over the spring and summer which leaves the Arcadio gelding a six-race maiden. Will need to improve to figure in this contest.
Remains a maiden after 16 starts, and has produced his more promising efforts over fences. Requires a chunk of improvement to figure here.

The Michael Winters-trained, ultra consistent, GRANNY BIDDY is taken to land the spoils following two solid performances last month. Hollow Tree, New Kid In Town and Skellig Rockss can challenge Poker Party for the minors.
