May have been the effects of a long season when turning in a second-rate performance at Limerick at the end of last season and pulled up on return to action when tailed off at Listowel. Looks vulnerable in this company.
Veteran still on a high enough mark following a heavy defeat last time out at the Galway Festival, before finishing fifth of six beaten 4½L at Bellewstown on last national hunt start. Looks to be regressing 14lb lower than last winning mark.
Beaten favourite last time out in Cork maiden hurdle in March. Distance winner back in February 2016 and may find one or two of the opposition a little quicker today.
106-rated chaser got off the mark in February winning over an extended 2m1f at Clonmel on heavy ground. May struggle still 5lb higher than last winning hurdle mark.
Improved performance last time out when finishing third of 16 beaten ½L in a Tramore handicap hurdle in August. Can continue improvement in this company.
One from five over hurdles with that win coming in a maiden hurdle in 2014. Unspectacular on the Flat since and hard to fancy in this sort of contest.
16-race maiden including four over hurdles for current yard since joining following a modest Flat career for Richard Hannon. Hard to fancy and others preferred.
Heavy ground may have been the excuse for a below-par performance last time out when beaten favourite at Gowran Park following promising runs at Wexford and a win at Ballinrobe last month.
Well beaten in three maiden hurdles but a different proposition since sent handicapping, finishing second of 24 at Punchestown in May, but below-par since. Others come here in better form.
Well beaten in three maiden hurdles and very little to be positive about even with first-time tongue-tie fitted.
Distance winner who has seen his form dip recently following some promising runs over the summer. Will need to improve to figure.
Well beaten on three hurdle starts in 2015/16 season and beaten 101L on return to action in August of last year when 13th of 14 in Roscommon handicap hurdle over 2m4f. Others preferred.
Forecasts
Broder (4/1), Theatre Run (5/1), Omega Springs (6/1), Miracle Cure (6/1), He's Our Man (8/1), Lets High Five It (8/1), All The Chimneys (8/1), Not Touch (10/1), De Benno (14/1), Grandma Dotty (25/1), Tizme (33/1), Brisengere (66/1)
Not a lot of pace in this contest and it could left to C&D winner All The Chimneys to take the field along in the early stages. Theatre Run, where the heavy ground may have been the excuse for a below-par performance last time out, can grab a place here while preference is for MIRACLE CURE who last time out when finishing third of 16 beaten ½L in a Tramore handicap hurdle in August.
- Miracle Cure
- Theatre Run
- All The Chimneys
