Twice a winner at this course (once over C&D) she has run with credit of late although she is finding this mark a little difficult to win off. Deserves applause for her consistency but overall others are preferred; she looks a place chance at best.
Goes handicapping off the back of building on a runner-up slot at Worcester over 2m when taking a novice there last time firmly getting her career back on track. Seemingly needs time between her runs and will find this tougher than her last two outings.
Revived all of a sudden when taking a Uttoxeter handicap before going on to win back on the Flat in a staying handicap but failed to follow that run up over the same C&D. Returns to hurdles now off a 7lb higher mark and this is tougher company than her win.
Bumper winner (showed some decent form in that sphere) but has so far failed to match that level over hurdles. Now goes into handicaps with over a longer trip and that may well bring about some improvement.
Appears to have come back to form of late running with credit on a few occasions and has the assistance of a very capable claimer here. This is a slight drop in grade from her last run so expect her to be on the premises again.
Stable are certainly ticking along nicely as they usually do at this time of the year along she does have an absence to overcome. Her mark also looks a little on the stuff side on what she has achieved so far over hurdles.
Still yet to win over hurdles and although she has had a few chances to lose the maiden tag it remains firmly in place. Always looks a hard and awkward ride and her overall record is an off-putting one here especially for win purposes.
Her hurdles form so far hasn't matched up to what she has shown on the Flat although that's a reflection of how stiff her handicap mark is. Seen to good effect last time but couldn't take advantage and this still looks a tough task for her.
Remains a maiden and her record is a fairly mixed one and inconsistent at best. She returns from a break now but hard to know what to expect from her given what she has shown in her most recent runs.
Makes her debut for this yard having got her act together to win at Wincanton in March off a 7lb lower mark. Not in quite the same form in two subsequent runs but not totally written off here back from a break.
Forecasts
G For Ginger (3/1), Ayla's Emperor (5/1), Lagavara (11/2), Fit The Brief (11/2), Kentford Heiress (13/2), Daytime Ahead (8/1), Champagne To Go (12/1), Tsundoku (16/1), Sahara Haze (25/1), Flighty Filia (28/1)
Nothing here is obviously ahead of its mark although the race contains some capable types and Kentford Heiress who runs well around here should go close and sets a reasonable standard. G For Ginger now goes into handicaps and that may see her step forward again although this looks a little tougher than her last start. Daytime Ahead is one that would have a chance at price if she’s fit for her return and the same could be said of Lagavara. With the very capable Mitchell Bastyan taking the ride AYLA’S EMPEROR is the suggestion here given that she has run well of late and this is a slight drop in class for her.
- Ayla's Emperor
- G For Ginger
- Kentford Heiress
