Has been in good form of late, winning over C&D in August before finding a 7lb weight rise too severe when fourth at Gowran Park. Runs off the same mark, but the return to this track may help and he is not ruled out.
Bumper winner who has not translated that ability to hurdles so far. Down the field in a Down Royal handicap last time and has it all to do off the same mark.
Veteran performer who had been running well over hurdles and fences before finishing well down the field over timber at Navan last time. Needs to bounce back, but has a chance if doing so.
One win and three second places on her last three starts so an 11lb rise is perfectly fair. Won on her chasing debut at this track last month, so rather surprising she is back over hurdles. Respected, nonethless.
One of the least exposed in this field with one win from five starts. First venture into handicap company saw her finish a fair fourth of 13 at Ballinrobe and, given her lack of experience, she can be expected to do better off the same mark.
Landed a handicap at this track in June, but subsequent displays have not been so good. The handicapper has been slow to react and he looks likely to struggle off his current mark.
Won and finished second in novice chases on his last two starts, but back to hurdling off 2lb higher than when runner-up over C&D in August. In good heart and likely to be on the premises.
Got his head in front at Killarney two starts ago and was by no means disgraced when second off 6lb higher at Galway last time. Anther 4lb rise makes life tough, but he seems progressive and is respected.
Shed her maiden tag over hurdles at the ninth time of asking when winning a C&D handicap last time. Up 6lb, but confidence should be high and she has leading claims if in the same mood.
Struggling to make an impact over hurdles with only one placed effort in seven starts, Cut little ice in a beginners' chase last time and has plenty to prove on her return to the smaller obstacles.
Forecasts
Boudry (9/4), Tranquil Magic (4/1), Persian Wind (4/1), Oskar High (5/1), Charms Bracelet (10/1), Better Back Bob (12/1), Alterno (14/1), Movingswiftlyalong (14/1), Ashjan (25/1), Kitty B (33/1)
Persian Wind and Oskar High are in good heart and cases can be made for both, along with Movingswiftlyalong and Tranquil Magic. Preference, though, is for CHARMS BRACELET, who won over C&D last time and has not been hit too harshly by the handicapper. Boudry and Alterno look best of the rest.
- Charms Bracelet
- Oskar High
- Persian Wind
