Alaska had been a consistent performer until two poor runs at Nottingham. He has a solid run on the AW in between those efforts and shapes as though he will get this longer trip. At the weights ONE FOR JUNE makes most appeal having won a minor race at Lingfield that has since worked out. The way she has given up the chase on her last two starts is a concern but the switch to this faster surface may be the answer. The booking of the champion elect adds further to her chances.
