Ran as well as ever when just touched off in a slightly stronger C&D handicap a week ago. Runs off the same mark so has to go on the short list.
Has won three times over 1m and 1m1f this season and is proven with give underfoot. High enough in the handicap, though, and has never won over this far.
Six runs have already yielded two AW successes, but he is 0-2 on turf. Still early days in his attempts to put that right and was by no means disgraced off 3lb higher at Ascot a couple of starts ago. Respected.
Only three runs on turf have been at Newmarket and he has shown enough to suggest a handicap of this nature is within his compass. Handicap mark has dropped and jockey booking very much catches the eye.
On a significant losing streak, but three latest runs off this sort of mark have been perfectly acceptable. Steps up in trip and needs to prove his stamina.
Lightly-raced filly who won a Goodwood maiden over this trip in May. Has failed to add to her tally in three handicaps and looks in need of some help from the assessor.
Gelding who has won four of his 17 starts on turf. Well held on his last two starts, but would have prospects on his third of nine on soft ground at Newbury in August off 1lb higher.
Off the mark at the seventh attempt when landing a Salisbury maiden last month. Reverts to handicap company and should do better with confidence higher.
Capable on his day, but not at his best this season and was well held at Salisbury last time. Down 8lb and seriously well handicapped if the fire still burns.
Promise on debut at Kempton before justifying favouritism in an AW maiden at Wolverhampton. Not seen since March and make his handicap debut on turf, but could have got in lightly and the market will presumably reflect his chance.

Top weight Indian Chief has to be of serious interest after being just touched off in a slightly better contest over C&D last week, but it is hard to ignore the claims of WILLIAM SAYLE, who makes his turf debut after showing plenty of promise earlier in the year and could be leniently weighted. Angrywhitepyjamas and AY AY are others with scope for improvement in a decent contest, while Italian Heiress and Storm Rock are also respected.
