In fine form of late, winning two of his last three starts on this type of ground. Up in the weights but dangerous to dismiss returning from a short break.
Respectable runs on last two starts, but the handicapper is relenting only slowly and he may need more help if he is to get his head back in front.
Won a 1m handicap off 6lb lower at Windsor in June, last year, but has drawn a blank since. Clearly well handicapped if he can bounce back in first-time cheekpieces.
Won a Newmarket maiden as a juvenile, but has not been able to build on that and handicap mark is inching down. Finished well when second at Kempton last time and is interesting off 1lb higher back on grass.
Won handicaps on this type of ground at Hamilton and Pontefract in the summer, but the assessor had his say and he has been held in two runs since. Remains a shade high in the weights.
Signs of ability in four maidens before finishing down the field in his first handicap outing at this course. Has been dropped 2lb and makes his first appearance for a new trainer, but best watched until showing more.
Landed a 1m4f handicap at Leicester in August, last year, and has since been tried over a variety of distances without success. Handicap mark is falling, but not much encouragement in recent displays.
Won three times when trained by Ismail Mohammed, but 0-9 for current yard. Shaped much better when fourth at Beverley last time and has an each-way shout off a 2lb lower mark.

Forecasts
Medicean Ballet (3/1), El Principe (10/3), Harlequin Striker (9/2), Edgar Allan Poe (6/1), William Booth (7/1), Hanseatic (10/1), Groor (10/1), Beatbybeatbybeat (12/1), Cornelious (16/1)
Top weight El Principe is a good starting point and he is much respected given his record this season. However, there are one or two who could be quite well handicapped, including MEDICEAN BALLET, who shaped well on the AW last time and is nicely weighted on his return to turf. Harlequin Striker is dangerously well weighted if cheekpieces work their magic and Groor cannot be dismissed off his current mark.
