Won over C&D on good to firm in May, but has been well held off higher marks since and seemed to struggle on soft ground on latest outing. Reasons to oppose.
Won back-to-back C&D handicaps in the summer and has not been disgraced in two starts off higher marks. Acts on this kind of surface and looks a player back at his favourite venue.
Won a good-to-soft 1m maiden at Newbury a year ago, but has struggled in handicaps this season. Dropping down the weights, so not totally dismissed.
Only win came in a maiden way back in August, 2015. Well held in recent outings and although tumbling down the weights, it is hard to make a case for him.
On a long, losing sequence, but shaped quite well on his first start for this stable at Redcar and is 2lb lower. Handles conditions and has an each-way squeak.
Without a win after seven attempts and not much encouragement in last two displays. Down 4lb and represents a respected team, but others preferred.
Won an Epsom maiden for Charlie Appleby last year, but has been generally out of sorts for his current stable. On a career-low mark, and needs to show signs of a revival.
Signs of ability in all three runs in maidens and ventures into handicap company for the first time. Interesting if there is any money for him.

Forecasts
Pacific Salt (5/2), Rosarno (3/1), Dragons Voice (7/2), Mikmak (5/1), Thaqaffa (7/1), Tadaany (7/1), Caledonia Duchess (10/1), Gold Dust (12/1), Lord Commander (14/1), Maldonado (33/1)
Bottom weight Caledonia Duchess would be of great interest if translating her AW form to turf, but that is not guaranteed and a much safer option is dual C&D winner PACIFIC SALT, who clearly loves this track and handles the ground. Dragons Voice looks a big danger under his penalty and Tadaany may hit the frame. Gold Dust is worth a check in the betting market.
