Not won for a while and comes into this on the back of a couple of moderate efforts. Hard see him turning back the clock on these terms as other hold better claim on recent evidence.
Kept on well to get up on the line at Limerick at the weekend, delivering on the promise shown this season. More on under 6lb extra but still a leading candidate on ground that is likely to suit. Rider's claim helps at the weights.
C&D winner on penultimate start and far from disgraced at Limerick under a 6lb penalty last time. £lb higher this time, so obviously a stiffer test; but is in great heart and cannot be discounted in his current form.
Not much to take from starts in maidens and handicaps so far and probably best watch despite a drop in the weights.
True Companion in behind when winning at Limerick in mid-September but was held on heavier ground at the same track under an 4lb at the weekend. That was still respectable and, as he's unexposed at the trip, another bold effort cannot be ruled out.
Held on the form of his effort behind Count Of Carabass and True Companion last month but has gone well at this course before, so feasible he could get closer this time around. May lack the killer instinct at this trip though.
Yard quite of late bid have a winner at Limerick (50/1) at the weekend but has generally been quiet of late. This fellow's form wouldn't be a flag bearer for the stable this season and others make a lot more appeal.
Respectable if unspectacular effort over 7f at Limerick the other day but faded near the finish and created the impression the trip is on the sharp side. 0-10 so far and another that needs others to under perform for him to get off the mark.
Yard relatively quiet but small amount of recent runners have gone well in the last fortnight. Heavy ground won't be a problem for the gelding and the rider's 7lb claim also a help. Currently 2lb above last winning mark, so worth a betting check.
Done a lot of his recent racing at Dundalk but encouraging signs on his penultimate start at Rosocommon. However, his latest effort left a lot to be desired and he would have a lot to find on that particular effort.
First two starts only modest but better those by some way at Listowel last month. Not over faced on that evidence and certainly one to monitor carefully as he steps into a handicap for the first time.
Versatile regarding the trip and is a battle hardened campaigner having her eighth start since the start of August. Heavy ground suits and the filly looks a likely contender if her recent busy spell hasn't taken a toll.
Steeped into handicap company after three poor efforts on the AW at Dundalk and has yet to even make the frame in six attempts. Difficult to see him taking the leading role.
Poor form in maidens and off-putting that connections resort to a 7lb claimer, blinkers and a tongue tie in a bid to reverse the slide for this handicap debut. Other readily preferred.

Several hold decent claims but it may pay to stick with COUNT OF CARABASS, who is a consistent individual that is still 3lb lower than his best ever rating and may have a bit of room to maneuver over this trip. True Companion has a little to find with the selection but has sound claims of at least making the frame if he can stay out of trouble, while Voyageofdiscovery should also be capable of being on the premises if not anchored by his 6lb extra burden today.
- Count Of Carabass
- True Companion
