Back up to this trip for the first time in a while having been campaigned over 5f but stays this far and has won over this distance several times in the past. Slightly inconsistent but considered if on one of his better days.
A maiden but looked very close to getting off the mark for Richard Hughes. Not quite so good since switching to this yard and needs to rediscover his best form to be considered a contender here in a first time tongue strap.
On a long losing streak but has been showing signs of revival recently, having placed on his last three starts. Remains on the same mark now and should be able to go very close here if bringing the same level of performance.
Ten race maiden who has shown little in the way of ability to date and has plenty to prove off this weight, even in a relatively weak handicap such as this.
Still favourably weighted considering he has won two races (handicaps over this trip) so far this year. Draw not ideal but conditions should suit better than when well beaten at Bath last time.
Much better since dropping back down to this trip, remains a maiden but must surely be close to getting of the mark at long last.
Some patchy good form in the past but not so good since switching to this yard in particular and has plenty to do in order to get competitive here.
Currently on a losing streak, looked like a revival might be in the offing on her seasonal reappearance but hasn't been able to build on that since; beaten 20L at Brighton last time and much better needed now.
Sole career victory on turf back in July 2014 over shorter, but she also goes well over this distance, but has questions to answer on the ground and has looked out of form recently.
Remains a maiden having been beaten favourite at Lingfield last time over a trip that may have been too far. Drop back down to this distance is also a slight question mark but has the form to go close.
Forecasts
Time Medicean (11/4), Cruise Tothelimit (11/2), Arcanista (6/1), Herm (13/2), Whatalove (8/1), Rafaaf (10/1), Concur (11/1), Multi Quest (14/1), Lucky Di (22/1), Captain Sue (22/1)
Few of these arrive here in particularly good form but TIME MEDICEAN has been running solidly in defeat despite being on a long losing streak. He looks like he should still be able to run well off his current handicap mark and with form on both the ground and in this class to suit this looks a suitable assignment for him to pick up a 6th career victory on his 78th start. The handicapper could probably have been harsher on Concur given the form he was in earlier in the year and he is also considered along with Cruise Tothelimit, who would have a say if on one of his better days.
- Time Medicean
- Concur
- Cruise Tothelimit
