Something to find based on his recent form and probably better over further nowadays, carrying 3lb more with the same rider able to claim less here.
Well-treated on his best form but has struggled with higher handicap ratings more recently, and would prefer it quicker, as all his best form is on a sound surface.
Still just a Ripon maiden to his name but steps down markedly in trip here which should suit, having put in one of his better performances over this distance.
Just 1/32 on the turf with most of his career victories having come on the all-weather; too many questions to answer on the surface.
Trip-versatile and has run well in similar handicaps to this in the past, but has had something of a lackluster season so far and needs to return to his best form in order to get involved here.
Well-beaten in the Irish Cambridgeshire last time out but this is obviously a big step down in class; in good form prior to that in the hands of this jockey and is capable of making his mark in the company once again.
Lightly-raced type who was well-beaten in maiden company last time but made and solid start to his handicap career prior to that. This trip probably a minimum for him going forward so would enjoy as much pace on as possible.
Denied in his attempts for a hat-trick off a much increased mark at Galway last time out; stays on that rating now and tough to see him winning off it.
Off the mark at Cork earlier in the season but hasn't been able to build on that effort since, including in an event on a similar level to this at Listowel last time out.
Generally better in testing conditions so any further rain would be welcome for his chances, but has to contend with a higher turf handicap mark after running well at Dundalk last time out.
Returns to the track for the first time since June 2014; not in terrible form prior to that but will surely need this first run back for a new trainer.
Most of his best form on a synthetic surface but has also won on turf; would like it to dry out a bit more as he seems more at home on a sound surface but his recent form has been solid and consistent.
Makes his seasonal reappearance here as well as his first run for this yard. Would have had a chance on his most recent form, but may just need this after the break. Tongue strap on.
Unseated his jockey at the start last time out following a nice little win at Gowran Park; won over 6f as a two-year-old but now has matured and may find this a little too sharp.
Has won two of his last four but one of those was in claiming company and the other was off a much lower mark than this; looks vulnerable in a big field handicap off this rating.
Seven race maiden with plenty of questions to answer even off a light weight and over the trip he has put up his best performances over.
First reserve. Just the one run on the Flat since late 2015, when beaten 42L at Tipperary in April. Off since and plenty to prove on the basis of that performance.
Second Reserve. Winner of a minor Dundalk maiden last year but hasn't shown much since, especially on the forecast ground. Best watched.

Try Again would be a major player if transferring his best form from the all-weather onto turf but perhaps KEEP BELIEVING can progress again to prove the best of these. This improving colt is slightly worse off under the conditions of this race with his apprentice rider able to claim less but has come on plenty this year and could do so again to come out on top here. Shamad probably wants plenty of pace but made a solid start to his handicap career two starts ago and completes the tricast.
- Keep Believing
- Try Again
