Claims on his French form but three starts on these shores leave a lot to be desired and others make more appeal on these terms.
Not seen over hurdles since August 2014 and, while he has some respectable efforts to his name, the old boy seems to have lost his way on the Flat and is hard to assess back over hurdles on his first start for his new yard.
Seemed to go off the boil for his former trainer after winning a modest race at Taunton. Swapped hands for £13,000 but makes his debut for his new trainer at a reasonable level. Interesting if supported in the betting market.
Mixed fortunes from three previous runs at Kelso - placed once, fell once and finished ninth of ten on the other occasion. Good effort to win over 2m4f at Sedgefield latest but now 5lb higher and a personal best is required.
Fit from the Flat and most recent of four previous starts over hurdles was very encouraging. Drops in trip and debuts for a new yard but doesn't have too much to find to get involved in the thick of the action and has to make the shortlist.
Last four wins all came at Sedgefield but seems to have been found out by a rise in the ranks with two poor efforts latest. Off since April, so possible he's been freshened up by the break but has a bit to prove on his Kelso debut.
Two wins from 18 starts over hurdles but they have been well spread out. Still, he's only 2lb higher than for his win at Perth in July and has gone well over C&D in the past, so merits a check in the betting at least.
Useful on the Flat for Andrew Balding but hasn't really adapted to Jumps with the same fluency. Pulled up when first tried over C&D and not much better fortune when tried again over 2m4f in April. Best watched.

Picture Painter (11/4), Danceintothelight (11/4), Weapon Of Choice (9/2), Alphabetical Order (13/2), Bohernagore (13/2), Dance Of Fire (8/1), Asum (12/1), Rouge Et Sage (16/1), Dark And Dangerous (33/1)
It may be worth chancing a small investment with PICTURE PAINTER, who shaped with promise last time out and represents a yard that has done well with its newcomers in recent times. The gelding put in some solid groundwork at Perth in June and will be a tough nut to crack if running to that level once more. Asum also appeals as a likely candidate in this company, while Weapon Of Choice also appeals on the pick of his efforts and is feared as the best of the rest.
