Sea The Stars colt, cost €135,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to juvenile winner over this trip and Group 3 winner Raheen House. Dam a half-sister to 1,000 Guineas placed Maqaasid. Plenty to like on paper and yard in fine form with their juveniles.
Poet's Voice gelding, cost 16,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to an AW winner over 1m4f. Dam a half-sister to Listed winner . Pedigree and debut effort over 7f here both suggest he may do better over further. Gelded since his last run.
Invincible colt, closely related to Richard Of Yorke and Pacharana and dam was a juvenile winner over this trip and sister to Group 1 winner St Nicholas Abbey. Trainer's debutantes can need the run but useful 3lb claimer booked.
Camelot colt, half-brother to Group-placed Room Key. Dam a half-sister to Listed winner Splashdown and two more winners. Finished ninth of 14 at Sandown last time, still looked green. May need more time and further to be seen to best effect.
Zoffany colt, cost 130,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to a winner dam out of half-sister to Grade 1 winner. Looked green on debut at Sandown but trainer's runners can come on markedly for their debut. Market likely to reveal expectations.
Lope De Vega colt, cost 150,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Racing Post Trophy winner Marcel. Dam a half-sister to two useful sprinters. Holds two Group 1 entries for later in the month but yard's debutantes often need the run.
Frankel colt, half-brother to Listed winner Pearl Mix (juvenile winner over 1m) and dam a full-sister to Group 2 winner Rajsaman. Yard's runners can take a big step forward from debut; may be one to monitor in the betting in a first-time tongue-tie.
Acclamation colt, cost 70,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a German Listed winner over an extended 7f. Well beaten on both starts to date and this looks a strong maiden. Needs to vastly improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces.
Intello colt, cost €24,000 as a yearling and 135,000 gns as a Breeze-Up purchase. Half-brother to Muthmira and dam a half-sister to a juvenile winner. Interesting blend of speed and stamina in his pedigree but yard's debutantes often need the run.
Forecasts
Silver Quartz (11/4), Just Brilliant (10/3), Diocletian (7/2), Supernova (13/2), Astrologist (7/1), Soldiers Bay (8/1), Coolongolook (14/1), Institution (20/1), Banjo's Voice (80/1)
ASTROLOGIST looks the most interesting of the debutantes and Clive Cox's stable have been in excellent form with their juveniles this year. Silver Quartz holds some fancy entries and the betting market is likely to prove the best guide to his chance. Just Brilliant is another entered at Group 1 level and can't be ruled out if ready to go on debut.
