Has enjoyed a decent campaign, picking up a couple of novices' auction wins at Beverley and here (5f). Went very close on her nursery debut here over that trip last time and optimism that this extra furlong could help her to defy a 3lb rise.
Won over this trip in a Wolverhampton nursery last month, though a 7lb rise and good to soft ground saw him beaten over 10L at Yarmouth last time. If a return to the All Weather helps, then a repeat of his winning effort would make him competitive.
Has been competitive in four of his five outings, breaking his duck at Wolverhampton (5f) in novices' company last time. The step up in trip here could help him find some improvement here and he is on a fair mark for this nursery debut.
Won a Thirsk novices' auction contest (6f, good) in June and showed that he is beginning to get the hang of nurseries when a close third at Newcastle (6f, AW) from this mark last time. A repeat would give him claims again today.
Has run to a similar level of form in all four starts to far and was beaten favourite when just over 1L adrift of the winner at Newcastle (6f) on his nursery debut last time. Blinkers now added and from the same mark he is respected.
Tries this particular surface for the first time after a couple of decent nursery efforts at Newbury (6f, soft) and Nottingham (6f, good). Gelded since his last run and dropped 2lb. Support for him would be interesting.
Forecasts
Expecting (15/8), Central City (3/1), Emilia James (7/2), Fink Hill (9/2), Another Day Of Sun (8/1), Story Minister (20/1)
A trappy little nursery where EXPECTING is suggested to get the better of Emilia James and Central City, though both Another Day Of Sun and Fink Hill have the profile to be competitive. The selection has had a go in four of his five run and is give the vote in the hope that the step up to 1m and what looks a very fair mark for his nursery debut can help him to get his nose in front.
