Well held in both starts so far, here over 6f and at Yarmouth (7f, soft) last time. Not easy to see him making enough improvement to get competitive today and will probably be more of a feature when he has a handicap mark.

Ran green and was never in it when last of 14, beaten 55L on debut at Salisbury (1m, soft) last month. Tries a different surface today but his main mission will be to step up on that first effort with a view to nurseries.

Already looks exposed but has gone close in a couple of similar races at Wolverhampton and here lately over 7f. Stepped up in trip today, which may be able to elicit some improvement and should again be very competitive.

Her best effort since her Pontefract debut was last time out at Newmarket (1m, good) in a better contest than this. A reproduction of that effort in this company would give her claims today on her first All Weather outing.

The most exposed runner in the field, though she had made the frame a couple of times on the All Weather at Wolverhampton. Steps up to this trip for the first time, which may eek out some improvement and she should be on the premises.
Unseated and was withdrawn before the off on both her first two intended starts, before beating just one home when consenting to go at Kempton (1m, AW) in August. That was a reasonable effort which she could build on today.

Forecasts

Dance To Paris (11/8), Merkava (7/4), Tranquil Soul (10/3), Pretty Pearl (25/1), Sky Rocket (33/1), Roof Garden (33/1), Hidden Dream (33/1)

Verdict

Pretty Pearl is an interesting newcomer taking on some exposed performers and merits a market check before this, but the one with most potential who has some experience is DANCE TO PARIS, who gets the vote on that basis. Merkava and Tranquil Soul are both vulnerable but that should be no barrier to being competitive again.
  1. Dance To Paris
  2. Tranquil Soul
  3. Merkava
