Tipperary Handicap Chase

Has been mixing chasing and hurdling, but is on quite a long, losing streak. Ran respectably to be fourth off this mark at Wexford last time and any improvement would see him on the premises.

Reeled off a hat-trick of wins in point-to-points and a hunter chase over 3m in the spring and probably needed the outing when sixth of eight after a break at Listowel last month. Should strip fitter, but this big drop in trip is a concern.

Winning hurdler who has been unplaced in three beginners' chases. He is 5lb lower over fences than hurdles, but needs to step up on what he has achieved so far.

Got off the mark at the 24th attempt when winning a Listowel maiden hurdle last month. Had previously been running well off this sort of mark over fences and makes plenty of appeal given his current well being.

Four wins from 20 starts over fences, the latest coming at Clonmel In June. Now 8lb higher, which makes life tough, and was beaten a long way when last seen in a handicap hurdle at Cork in August. High enough in the weights.

Not the most consistent of performers and last win came way back in August, 2015. That said, he shaped well off 1lb higher at Galway a couple of starts ago and he has a chance if replicating that effort.

Got off the mark over fences at Clonmel last November, but has struggled off higher marks since. Handicapper is relenting, but he needs to shown signs of a revival.

Still looking for his first win after 18, starts, three of which have been over fences. Faded after racing prominently over 2m7f last time and this drop in trip could eke out some improvement.

Without a win after 17 starts under Rules. Has shown nothing in three runs over fences and is readily opposed.
