Baily Foxt1121
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: A Ring(3)| T: M F Morris
50/1
Maiden point-to-pointer who has been pulled up on his last three starts. First-time tongue tie will need to have a dramatic effect.
2
Horse silk
Cap D'Aubois32
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Ruby Walsh| T: W P Mullins| C
7/2
Odds-on when landing a 3m hurdle at Tipperary in July. Makes his chasing debut for leading connections and warrants plenty of respect.
3
Horse silk
50/1
Winning point-to-pointer who has been well held in two chases, being sent off at 66-1 on both occasions. Has plenty to find.
4
Horse silk
Death Duty158
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: D N Russell| T: G Elliott
1/5
High-class novice hurdler last season, although he did disappoint on his last two starts at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals. Has always looked a chaser in the making and it will be a shock if he fails to make a winning debut over fences.
5
Horse silk
Inis Meain8
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-12| J: D G Hogan| T: D Hogan| OR:  123| D
5/1
Dual hurdle winner and has been placed four times in seven starts over fences. Should find a race in due course, but it is unlikely to be this one.
6
Horse silk
Red River Goldt19
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Phillip Enright| T: D G Murphy| OR:  105
25/1
Winning point-to-pointer who has been placed three times in five chase starts. Not beaten far last time and is unlikely to be disgraced.
7
Horse silk
20/1
Winning hurdler who has struggled on both starts over fences. Tries a longer trip and needs to improve for it.
8
Horse silk
Tristram Shandy19
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-12| J: Danny Mullins| T: E McNamara| C
50/1
Four-times hurdles winner whose belated switch to chasing has seen him well held on both attempts. Nothing to suggest he can shake up the best of his rivals.

Forecasts

Death Duty (1/5), Cap D'Aubois (7/2), Inis Meain (5/1), Tinos Tank (20/1), Red River Gold (25/1), Tristram Shandy (50/1), Checker Hill (50/1), Baily Fox (50/1)

Verdict

Cap D'aubois is of definite interest on his chasing bow given his connections, but most eyes will be on DEATH DUTY, who is rated a future chasing star by connections. He was sent off a hot favourite when overturned at the Cheltenham Festival and again fell short at Punchestown, but bigger obstacles are expected to be the making of him and he can make a winning debut in this sphere.
  1. Death Duty
  2. Cap D'aubois
  3. Red River Gold
