Thrived for his new yard but penalties mounting up. Still, he's been in great heart and should have not issues with this larger field. The rider's claims helps at the weights and may still have more to offer. Has to merit respect.
Two good efforts since joining his current yard and certainly has a race within him. Today's better racing ground should help; one to keep tabs on in the betting.
Won his Bumper at this course and going the right way since switching to hurdles. Yard highly respected at this course and may be significant that the gelding is dropped in trip this time around. Shortlisted.
Finished third in each of his outings to date and notable that he was just ahead of Bafana Blue at Hexham latest; has a solid chance of upholding the form on these terms. Another to keep tabs on in the betting.
Form in France just modest (sole win came in a lads race on the Flat). Jumps form looking like it will follow a similar route and the gelding it hard to fancy here.
Showed plenty of ability for Kim Bailey and very possible he will have learned plenty during his time at that yard. One to note with interest only on his debut for a new stable though.
Definitely has ability and has already gone close on a number of occasions. Yard does well here but this fellow has been expensive to follow so far and may not be one for maximum faith.
Form in bumpers only poor and not much to gleam from two starts over hurdles so far. Still early days but others already look more progressive.
Well held in three Bumpers and has been the same scenario in two outings over timber. Lacks the scope of others and is easy to leave out of betting plans this time.
Forecasts
Or De Vassy (9/4), Helmsley Lad (5/2), Nicely Indeed (11/4), Boy In A Bentley (6/1), It's Your Move (14/1), Bafana Blue (25/1), Angel's Envy (100/1), Katy Royal (200/1), Main Fact (200/1)
A tricky one to call, as Or De Vassy certainly has the ability to win a race of this nature and should once again make the rest aware of his presence. However, he's already become frustrating to follow, so there are reasonable ground for looking elsewhere for the winner. With IT'S YOUR MOVE appealing as the best alternative should Dan Skelton's charge fails to deliver on his promises. The trip and ground should suit and the five-year-old can also confirm his superiority over Bafana Boy. A strong case can also be laid out for Boy In A Bentley but he has a stiff test ahead on these terms and needs a personal best to overcome the penalties.
