C&D winner who returned to form on his third start for his current yard making the most of a reduced mark to win a 0-80 handicap. Had won off higher in the past but had lost his way but hasn't really looked like winning again in two subsequent starts.
Difficult customer who has his own ideas about the game and needs a big field strongly run race scenario to see him at his best. Not been able to build on his Thirsk win earlier in the year and now tries a new headgear combination.
Certainly knows his way around here with three course wins to his name (one over C&D). Won here over further earlier in the year (Finn Class behind) and has held his form well since and a good second here (1m2f) last time to an improving sort (Weekend Offender).
Hard to get a handle on given his two-year-old campaign (winner on debut) that comprised just three runs. Recent improvement has coincided with going up in trip and a reduced mark; sound run last time at Redcar and now dropped to his lowest mark (85).
Expensive juvenile for the yard who won over 7f on debut (heavy ground) in a weak Catterick maiden. First two runs this year came in searching company (both Group races) before dropping into a handicap (ran respectably); now back from a break at lowest level yet.
Set a good standard as a juvenile (won three times) and ended the season on a mark of 82 (won off 73). Only seen twice this year so far (four months between the runs) and although she may have needed the run last time yet to prove she has trained on.
Course specialist who likes to go from the front and looks to be working his way back to some sort of form although he's flying a bit higher than usual here. Runs from just out of the handicap here but would be dangerous granted an easy lead.

An intriguing little contest with where there are questions marks over a couple of the three-year-olds, Ce La Vie and Clef both fillies having shown winning form as juveniles but not hitting the heights this year so far for various reasons. It may well be therefore that the remaining one of that age group BAMBER BRIDGE holds the key to this event given his steady progression this year although the ground is a slight doubt. The other Michael Dods runner Finn Class may well nit be suited by this small field scenario with the coming from four-time course winner Jay Kay who is up in grade. The biggest danger to the suggestion looks to come from another who loves it around here Royal Regent (three-time course winner) and making his 8th appearance here this term with the ground looking to suit but the trip looking a little on the short side.
