In wonderful form since going to his current yard winning four out of five of his handicaps all in exuberant fashion from the front. Mark has rocketed from 62 to 84 which he won off on Saturday at Chester; carries a penalty here but hard to rule out another win.
Twice a winner earlier in the season over this sort of trip at Hamilton he's failed to really build on those performances. Has run a little better of late (both times over shorter distances) and now falls back down to his last winning mark; should handle the ground.
Likeable sort who has looked progressive in handicaps this year showing nearly all of his form around Musselburgh (11313 there); often ridden positively. Takes a slight drop in grade with the trip no problem although untested on the ground.
A course regular (five wins; three this year) but tackles a trip like this for the first time on the Flat. Last two runs have looked a little below par and appeared beaten by the trip last time out (1m4f); that's enough to give doubts here.
Capitalised on a good run over C&D in July (form worked out well) when taking a Thirsk 1m4f handicap off a mark of 65. Two sound runs have followed at Redcar and Catterick and the win last time has landed him with a 6lb rise; still looks capable of getting involved.
Lightly raced sort who has made a promising start to his career (winner of a Redcar 1m2f maiden) and looks progressive in handicaps although yet to win one. Penultimate run reads well and can be forgiven his York outing last time (raced too close to strong pace).
Progressed since winning at Hamilton in June off a lowly mark of 60 to win a brace of further handicaps showing a good attitude but looking as though a test of stamina would suit. Has run well of late but handicapper may well have now assumed control.
In better form towards the middle of the year (recorded placed efforts over C&D and at Doncaster) possibly not looking the strongest in a finish. The last two efforts have been poor though and faces some progressive sorts in this.

Brandon Castle (6/4), Northwest Frontier (3/1), Vindicator (4/1), Donnachies Girl (13/2), Sebastian's Wish (14/1), An Fear Ciuin (16/1), Braes Of Lochalsh (20/1), Corton Lad (50/1), Gworn (50/1)
A fascinating staying event with quite a few outcomes possible but such was the dominance of BRANDON CASTLE at Chester on Saturday (won by 15L) that he’s hard to ignore here under a 6lb penalty and it may only be a quick return to the track that stops him. Sebastian’s Wish is now away from his beloved Musselburgh and back after a short break but has to be respected as does the improving Vindicator. Northwest Frontier has yet to win a handicap but clearly has one in him and can be forgiven his York run last time out with Donnachies Girl looking held off this mark but worth a her place in the field.
