Has a 1m4f course win to his name and acts well on soft ground. However, despite having dropped back to an attractive mark, he isn't quite doing the business right now, dropping away very tamely at Doncaster last time.
Looked a promising sort in Ireland earlier this year when winning a Curragh maiden in good style having finished fourth in a Listed event on his debut. Things have gone sour since, and no impact in two handicaps for this yard thus far.
A dual winner last term, including on heavy ground, but looked badly in need of the run on return from an eight month absence at York recently. Chance will depend on to what extent that blow-out has brought him on.
Landed a 1m2f handicap at Doncaster (good) in April and there were viable excuses for defeat on his two subsequent starts over this trip. Conditions probably more testing than ideal, however, after a layoff.
Nicely bred son of Dubawi who was strongly-fancied to make a winning start in a maiden over this trip at Windsor (good to soft) and overcame early greenness to win with a ton in hand. Could easily be better than his opening mark.
Just 1lb higher than when scoring at Carlisle in June on soft ground over a similar trip and has ran to a similar level here and at Thirsk more recently. Should again run his race but always vulnerable to improvers.
Stays further but largely out of sorts since a winning reappearance on much quicker ground at Thirsk in April. Back below last winning mark at least but has never won on ground this testing.

Royal Line (5/4), Night Of Glory (7/2), Swaheen (9/2), Tawdeea (7/1), Oasis Fantasy (8/1), Archippos (10/1), Gabrial's King (20/1), Trendsetter (33/1)
It was hard not to have been impressed by the manner of ROYAL LINE'S winning debut and, given his beautiful pedigree and the fact that he's related to plenty who have gone well in the mud, an opening handicap mark of 88 could be very lenient. It's hard to work up too much enthusiasm about any of his rivals, though Swaheen looks best equipped to pick up the pieces should the selection falter.
