Failed to complete the last twice and would probably prefer further having won over an extended 3m1f at Cartmel (good-to-soft) 13 months ago.
Successful over an extended 2m at Doncaster (good-to-soft) in novice company in February and a respectable effort when 13L seventh in a Grade 1 at Aintree (good) thereafter. Disappointed on handicap debut last time out however.
Completed a hat-trick when successful over C&D on good ground 12 months ago. Pulled up on two of his three starts since including on handicap debut over this trip at Uttoxeter (soft) in March.
Four time winner in France and best effort since joining this yard came when fourth of nine over 2m5f at Kempton (good) in April 2016. Absent since and probably best watched on her return and handicap hurdle debut.
Sole victory came in a 2m5f novice hurdle at Ludlow (good-to-soft) in November 2015. Pulled up at Kempton (good) over that trip on sole start of this year but represents a yard with a 50% strike-rate (4/8) at present.
Winner of three of his last four starts with all of those coming at this track. Successful over 2m on good ground the last twice and one for the shortlist having run to a much higher level of form over fences in the past.

HALLINGS COMET can complete a hat-trick over hurdles by taking this contest stepping up to this trip for the first time since joining this yard. The selection clearly likes this venue who having won here three times already this season and he can see off Meldrum Lad who was a disappointment at Kempton in early May but had been in good form over fences prior to that and races off his lower hurdles mark today while Chelsea Flyer can claim third on his second handicap start.
