With perhaps the exception of Ormesher, the majority of those with racecourse experience haven't exactly set the world alight so far, so this race can go the way of a newcomer. Mercury Rising is an obvious contender given his connections, and he holds a rather ambitious entry in the 2018 Derby. However, it is probably worth chancing that the Foxwedge filly RIZZLE DIZZLE is fit enough to do herself justice. She represents connections who have made a significant investment in the North in the past couple of years, and has the benefit of the excellent PJ McDonald in the saddle.
